Alyssa Stroble came to the youth program as an OSY and was pregnant, she was looking to further her education for her and her daughter. Her goal coming in was to get her certification as a pharmacy tech, and after vetting several schools she chose The College of Career and Health Professionals. During the initial admission process, we were concerned that she wouldn’t be able to attend because of COVID-19, however, the school had a remote learning option. Since being enrolled in occupational training she has taken off and made straight A’s on EVERY module and gave birth to her baby girl Delilah. She managed to intensify her focus even more. Alyssa will be completing training in November and will be placed on a work experience opportunity through the youth program to gain experience in her field of study and will be placed permanently upon completion of work experience. The youth program is proud of her dedication and commitment!
