Workforce Solutions Alamo Workforce Academy

The Workforce Solutions Alamo Workforce Academy is an initiative designed to equip community and partner organizations with the knowledge, tools, and resources needed to connect their clients to career, training, and employment services.

Through the Academy, participants become Workforce Ambassadors who can confidently promote Workforce Solutions Alamo resources, make informed referrals, and help individuals access pathways to employment in high-demand, high-growth industries.

How the Workforce Academy Works:

1. Attend the Workforce Academy
Participate in a virtual Workforce Academy presentation to become a Workforce Ambassador. Organizations may also request a presentation for a larger group.

2. Complete All Three Sessions
Participants complete the three Workforce Academy sessions to gain a comprehensive understanding of available workforce resources:

• • Workforce Academy 101 – An overview of Workforce Solutions Alamo, workforce services, and available resources.
  • Workforce Academy: Programs – Learn about workforce programs, training opportunities, and services available to job seekers.
  • Workforce Academy: Business Services – Learn how Workforce Solutions Alamo supports employers and connects businesses with workforce solutions.

3. Share Workforce Resources
Ambassadors receive outreach materials and resources to share with their clients, colleagues, and communities.

4. Connect Clients to Opportunities
As a Workforce Ambassador, use your knowledge to refer clients to Workforce Solutions Alamo and help connect them with services, training, and career opportunities that support their employment goals.
