SKILLED TEAM MEMBER

Skilled Team Members repair and maintain manufacturing equipment in one of three areas 1) Production, 2) Tool and Die Maintenance, or 3) Facilities Maintenance. Key responsibilities may include:

Key Responsibilities for All Three Areas

• Working in a diverse team towards a common goal

Key Responsibilities for General Maintenance (Production)

• Performing preventive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment in accordance with standardized procedures.
• Designing, assembling, and testing hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment and systems (involves circuits, relay logic, wiring, motors, servo drives, etc.)
• Designing, fabricating, machining, and repairing jigs, fixtures and parts (metal, plastic, and wood) for projects, equipment repair, maintenance work orders, and machine modifications.
• Writing, programming, troubleshooting, modifying and/or repairing programmable logic controllers, CNC machines, robotics, and other electronic equipment.
• Troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment using standard and specialized hand/power tools (pipe threader, press, welder, cutting torch, machining, and diagnostic equipment).
• Troubleshooting, replacing and/or repairing machine components including cylinders, pumps, motors, spindles, fixtures, slides, valves, gears, switches, and bearings.
• Performing basic administrative skills including computer data entry and documentation of work performed by written and electronic methods.

Key Responsibilities for Facilities Maintenance

• Operating power house equipment (e.g., boilers, air compressors, chillers, electrical distribution etc.) and industrial waste treatment equipment. (facilities maintenance)

Key Responsibilities for Tool & Die Maintenance

• Perform preventative maintenance on stamping dies according to standardized procedures.
• Perform machining and fabricating on stamping dies fro repair or improvement.
• Troubleshooting die performance in stamping press to resolve or enhance formability issues
• Ability to weld and hand grind tool steels to meet die specifications.
• Ability to read die drawings and able to create drawings for improvement.
• Preferred experience with A class exposed surface panels.
